Who i am

I was born in Kayseri, Turkey, studied Electrical Engineering in Ankara and received my

Ph.D. degree in New York, USA. I worked as a professor in METU, and conducted research in several companies in Turkey.

I always had a keen interest in painting and been a good collector of art in my capacity.

After retirement, I started to paint and has been in constant search of new approaches with potential to bring dynamic vision to painting.

Dynamic vision, in the context of painting, refers to the ability to create artwork that appears to have movement and depth, making it more engaging and visually stimulating.

I recognized that this concept can be achieved by combining well known helix structures with EBRU (Marble Paper). This technique enables the artists to utilize a very rich combinations of colors and forms in their designs that Ebru Paper provides.

The resulting Art Work exhibits characteristics that help to create the 3-dimensional view which has desired dynamic vision, enabling the artist to use infinite design possibilities that are bounded by his vision and imagination only.

Previously, I have participated in several local and international exhibitions. The 17. Rome Art Fair has been the last exhibition I participated.
